Lucas Lisman: The Fenn Class of 2016
As John F. Kennedy once said, "Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future." As I started to write, I realized that so much has changed and so much more will soon change. I thought about it. I used to be a small sixth grader dreaming about playing on upper school sports teams, with the giant eight and ninth graders. Now, I am one of the giant eight and ninth graders playing on the upper school sports teams, and it is amazing to see how much I have changed. I also realized that a lot of my friends are leaving and I have a rare opportunity to make amazing friendships with the kids that are staying. I had a tough time writing this because there was so much to write about. From the great community, to the helpful teachers, to the fun students, everyone makes Fenn such a great place. I also reflected on how different my life would be without this community. So as you listen to my video try to reflect on how much the community, the teachers, and the students have changed you. I hope you enjoy my video and best of luck to the graduating students.
