Izak Furey: The Fenn Class of 2016
While sitting down to write my memoir, I was faced with the blank page syndrome. I had no idea what to write. I needed a few experiences to tell about my time at Fenn. Then I realized, although they weren't my favorite memories, they were my most vivid. So I chose to write about all the times I had gotten hurt while I was at Fenn. After I decided that was going to be my topic, the writing came easy to me. Even though it made me happy to hear Ms. Genova say, "Hi, this is Julie Genova, The Fenn School nurse calling About Izak Furey. Everything is fine, but..." for the last time, it also makes me sad that my time is coming to an end. My time at Fenn was really special to me, but, as Robert Frost said, "Nothing gold can stay," and for me, that is about to come true.
